St James Abandoned Underground Railway System

St James Abandoned Underground Rail System, The abandoned section of the St James station was initially intended to be a junction point for trains travelling on different lines of the City Circle. However, due to changes in plans and engineering challenges, this section of the station was never completed or fully utilised.Construction on the St James station began in the early 20th century, but the plans for the abandoned section were ultimately abandoned due to technical difficulties, including unstable ground conditions and financial constraints. Due to safety concerns and the risk associated with unauthorised access, security measures are in place to prevent trespassing and vandalism within the abandoned section of the station. Surveillance cameras and barriers help deter unauthorised entry.
