Cockatoo Island Shipping Warehouse
Cockatoo Island, has a long history. Its maritime era saw the Island used as an industrial manufacturing plant for naval ships during world war 1. The Island continued as a site for ship manufacturing until 1991. After lying dormant for ten years, the Harbour Trust was formed, which manages the Island and many other historical sites around Sydney Harbour.
